EGI once again achieved the BDVA i-Space GOLD label – Celebrating our commitment to high standards for data innovation at EBDVF23, Valencia.

We are delighted to announce that EGI has been again awarded the prestigious BDVA i-Space GOLD label. This distinguished recognition underscores our unwavering commitment to excellence in the realm of data innovation and collaboration. The award ceremony took place on 25 October at the European Big Data Value Forum EBDVF 2023, in the charming city of Valencia.

The BDVA i-Space GOLD label signifies our dedication and accomplishments across various key domains, assessed through a series of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in six crucial pillars, including infrastructure and data, services, projects in sectors, ecosystem and impact, sustainability, and federation. We take great pride in sharing the results, which illuminate our exceptional standing compared to industry averages.

This achievement is not merely a momentary acknowledgment; the label holds a two-year validity, reflecting our ongoing commitment to maintaining the highest standards.

Furthermore, as an i-Space, EGI is an active participant in EUHubs4Data, the European federation of Data-Driven Innovation Hubs. This collaboration fosters partnerships among data-driven initiatives in Europe, with the aim of unifying solutions in a global catalogue of data services and facilitating cross-border and cross-sector data sharing.
