What is EGI?
EGI (or EGI Federation) is a federation of distributed resource centres from different national e-infrastructures and national/international research organisations spread across Europe and worldwide. Specifically, EGI federates compute resources, support teams and various online services from over 300 international institutes, and make those available for researchers, innovators and educators.
All the members of the EGI Federation are united by the shared goal of delivering advanced computing and data analytics services for researchers so they can conduct world-class research and innovation.
