The EGI Federation is gearing up to shape its strategic direction for the years 2025-2029. As the technological landscape rapidly evolves, the EGI Federation seeks to ensure that its services are not only aligned with current needs but also proactively address future challenges in research and innovation. To achieve this, we are launching a survey designed to gather valuable insights from key stakeholders.
The Purpose of the Survey
This survey aims to gather feedback from users, service providers, software developers, and policymakers, in short, the EGI community, to better understand their needs and experiences. The input collected will help inform decisions that shape the Federation's service offerings and strategic initiatives for the coming five years.
The EGI Federation is particularly focused on:
- Aligning its services with stakeholder needs.
- Identifying emerging trends that may influence advanced computing.
- Addressing any unmet needs to ensure that the research and innovation community remains well-supported.

The survey consists of six questions and is anonymous. Your responses will be stored securely without any identifying information, ensuring complete confidentiality.

The survey results will directly inform the EGI Council Strategy Planning Task Force, which started operating last September. The task force will develop the EGI Federation's 2025-2029 strategy in consultation with all key stakeholders. Your feedback will guide key decisions, ensuring the strategy addresses real needs and adapts to emerging trends. The final strategy is expected to be completed by May 2025.
