From 10-11 October 2024, CRAFT-OA organises the CRAFT-OA Tech Event in Turin, Italy.
The gathering aims to bring together various stakeholders, including members of the Diamond Open Access (OA) community, institutional publishing service and technology providers, journal editors, and technical professionals working with publishing systems like OJS, Lodel, and Janeway.
The event will feature presentations, workshops, and hands-on sessions on topics such as:
- the Diamond Discovery Hub – the registry of Diamond OA journals
- OJS core and plug-in developments
- Indexes and Aggregators Knowledge Base
- Journals Visibility Pathfinder for indexing and harvesting services
- Training materials and curriculum for technical standards
- the Living Handbook for Diamond OA publishing
- AAI – single sign-on service for the community

This event is a unique opportunity to share knowledge on the technological advancements within the CRAFT-OA project, collaborate and shape the future of equitable, scholar-led digital publishing.
