New service agreement: EGI and the OpenBioMaps+ community
The EGI Foundation is pleased to announce a service level agreement (SLA) between the EGI service provider IFCA-LCG2 and the OpenBioMaps+ research community, represented by the University of Debrecen.
The SLA is valid until December 2020.
The OpenBioMaps+ community offers a platform of online tools for researchers and conservationists to manage biodiversity data. The purpose of the platform is to establish a connection between research and nature conservation.
The community will now use Cloud Compute services from the EGI provider IFCA-LCG2 to help them support this mission.
Bán Miklós from the University of Debrecen says: "We are very happy for this collaboration with EGI and we look forward to starting the work."
The full agreement is available online.
