ES-NGI aims to integrate computational resources to create a virtual and distributed computing infrastructure that, using Grid technology, allows the interconnection of computational resource centres in Spain and their integration into the European Grid Infrastructure.

By sharing these resources and managing them jointly and efficiently, ES-NGI offers a computational support service to researchers that will improve the quality of R&D in Spain.

The ES-NGI activity is coordinated by CSIC through IFCA.
