Baptiste Grenier is the Information Security Manager at the EGI Foundation. He is responsible for the Information Security Management System (ISMS) covering the activities and services delivered by the organisation. He coordinated the implementation of ISO/IEC 27001 compliance at the EGI Foundation, achieving the certification of the ISMS against ISO/IEC 27001:2017 in September 2023. He has been involved in the daily management of the EGI Integrated Management System, certified against ISO/IEC 9001:2015, ISO/IEC 20000-1:2018 and ISO/IEC 27001:2017 since 2017, as service owner, process manager, process owner and ISMS Manager. He is also overviewing the Data Protection aspects as part of the Information Security management process.
He is a member of the Senior Service Delivery Officer and Information Security Manager at the EGI Foundation. He is taking part to the coordination of the operations of the EGI Federation.
Over the last 20 years he has been involved in the development, deployment and operation of various GNU/Linux-based IT services together with the deployment and maintenance of grid sites while being a strong advocate of IT services automation and a certified Puppet Professional. He is now actively involved in the domains of Information Security and Data Protection and with EGI Foundation he became trained and certified as FitSM expert, ISO/IEC 27001 Professional and ISMS Security Officer.
