Eman works as Service Delivery Officer at the EGI Foundation and she is involved in a range of projects developing and delivering IT services. She has 8 years of hands-on experience of delivering and operating large scale IT services working as operation service owner of Vodafone private cloud infrastructure (Edge Cloud), leading the operation team to deliver IT services to a diverse Vodafone client base and maintain services high availability and ensure continual improvement of the VMware private cloud hosted in 26 global operating companies across 180+ locations, and 1500+ mission critical business services. Within Vodafone Group she also worked as major incident and escalation manager for the infrastructure and messaging services supporting more than 150,000 customers and responsible for establishing and maintaining ITIL processes.
Eman holds a B.SC degree in communication and computer engineering from Cairo University in Egypt, and has ITIL® V3 Foundation and AWS Cloud Practitioner certifications.
