Fabrizio Antonio was awarded a Master’s Degree with first-class honors in Computer Engineering from the University of Salento, Faculty of Engineering, in April 2016, with a thesis on High Performance Computing and Big Data. In May 2016, he joined the Advanced Scientific Computing (ASC) Division of CMCC. Since 2019, he has been contributing to the Dashboard Working Team in the context of the Earth System Grid Federation. He is also currently involved in some European Open Science Cloud projects, like EOSC-Pillar and EGI-ACE, as well as in the IS-ENES3 project.
His research activities focus on parallel, distributed and cloud computing and, in particular, on distributed data management and high-performance big data analytics and mining for eScience in the context of climate change.
