Levente Farkas joined the Technical Solutions Team at EGI Foundation in June 2021 as a Cloud Solutions Architect. Will design, validate, and develop technical solutions to fulfill EGI’s commitment to the ongoing projects, while also act as a technical advisor to the Strategy and Innovation Team Lead.
He holds a Computer Science degree from the Technical University of Timisoara (Romania), with a master thesis on web search engines. He worked on various commercial projects involving data security, multimedia encoding & streaming, file systems, code analysis tools, knowledge management systems, trading platforms, or pushing the innovation of General Electric Healthcare’s Centricity radiology information system using speech recognition. In the past four years he helped companies in the ESW Capital portfolio migrate their legacy applications/platforms to the cloud, mainly leveraging AWS and Azure managed cloud services.
