Marta Gutierrez David is Community Support Specialist at EGI Foundation, helping researchers to capture and analyse their requirements and preferences for storage, compute and data analytics services and liasing with the EGI Federation providers to obtain bespoke solutions that fulfill user requirements.
Marta previously worked for the ECMWF (European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts ) as a Data and Services analyst supporting users internationally to acquire real time and archive forecast data.
She also contributed to projects from UK e-science whilst working at STFC and EU funded initiatives (Framework Program FP7) at ECMWF to provide seamless access to distributed meteorological data centers. She has wide experience in geospatial metadata standards for search and discovery. She holds a Masters Degree in Theoretical Physics from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM).
